The Government of the United Arab Emirates is its economy to investment potentials in Bangladesh, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said at a meeting with his counterpart Bangladesh Dipu Moni in New York, Department of State to raise as a press release.
He said this as Dipu Moni his collaboration for UAE investments in power generation, oil, gas and minerals exploration and development of infrastructure in Bangladesh.
The two Ministers that the United Nations General Assembly were their respective national delegations in the 66, had a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Dipu Moni sought the support of the UAE of the candidature of Bangladesh for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council (2016-2017), UN Human Rights Council and International Maritime Organization (2011-2012).
The United Arab Emirates Minister assured that his country Bangladesh would seriously consider the requirements in terms of the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
It checks the existing air transport agreement between the two countries, cooperation between the Chittagong Port and DP port of Dubai and discussed about the 4th session of the Joint Economic Commission, which this year would be held in Dhaka.
Dipu Moni informs its counterpart to the introduction of the disposition.
Foreign Minister Mohamed Mijarul Finley's was present during the session.
