Swechchhasebak Dal leader killed in Natore

Natore: A local leader of Jatiyatabadi Swechchha-sebak Dal was hacked to death by assailants at Dilalpur in Lalpur upazila Thursday night.

The deceased was identified as Bhasan Pramanik, son of Gias Pramanik and vice-president of Walia union unit Swechchhasebak Dal.

Sources said some assailants attacked Bhasan when he was returning home from local Dilalpur bazar at about 10:30 pm and hacked him to death.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.

The motive behind the killing could not be known immediately. A case was filed. ?UNB
